A spin-off company promoted by Cross Road Biotech and the University of Valencia.Our aim is focused on discovering and developing properties of natural polyphenols which can benefit human health. Our initial research platform is based on the association of t-pterostilbene and quercetin, two structurally related and naturally occurring small polyphenols.

• Research & Development Projects: GM1 (Cancer Therapy): Different plant-derived polyphenols show anticancer properties and are pharmacologically safe. Intravenous administration of t-PTER and QUER may inhibit cancer growth and sensitize malignant cells (e.g. melanoma and colorectal carcinoma) to drug- and/or ionizing radiations-induced cytotoxocity. This potential application is protected by an European patent. Our aim is to extend these studies to different types of human cancers and to prove its usefulness following clinical trials.
